• It is located in Northwestern United States, primarily in Wyoming, with smaller portions in Idaho
• The highest point is 11,358 feet located in Eagel Park
• People have inhabited the area for about 11,000 years, leaving behind over 1800 archaeological sites.
• The YellowStone TV Series actually takes place in Yellowstone
• It is recomended to go to the park in April-May as there will be fewer crowds that block the view.
• It turned 100 in 1972.
